Bitcoin Poker for users of Bitcoins, Litecoins and other cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin & Litecoin Crypoto Currency Poker Sites Review

We have reviewed hundreds of online casinos and gambling websites separating fact and fiction while protecting consumers. We have had 1000's of request to review Bitcoin poker websites and Litecoin poker gaming websites. We can't test every website ever made but we did take the top 3 Bitcoin poker websites (Some have bonus litecoin deposit feature). Here is how we ranked them in order of greatest to not so great. (Please read our full review below for specific details of each online poker site.)

TOP 3 BITCOIN POKER WEBSITES

1st Place LIVEBITCOINPOKER.com
2nd Place Seals With Clubs
3rd Place Satoshi Poker

Starting with the best Bitcoin Poker website Livebitconpoker.com

Livebitcoinpoker.com Best Bitcoin Poker Site
This was a close call and photo finish with SWC. The reason being? Livebitcoinpoker.com offers a 200% bonus, 10 BTC Weekend Freerolls and most importantly live chat for all your BTC Poker issues. We ended up spending most of our time on this website as it was really fun . We found that most of the members from the other Bitcoin Poker sites play on this one and prefer it 3 to 1. They have a really nice poker table design that is not overbearing and easy to stare at when you have been playing poker 3 days straight. The main website is separate from the server and has a real casino website feel. They use a quick access poker login along with an automated Bitcoin support poker video. They have easy access to the Rules, Cash Out page and live chat making this a super simple website to navigate. We had a chance to interview one of the very humble owners , an ex poker pro seen on TV and plays at WSOP every year. We asked him a few questions and here is what he said.

Question 1. What made you want to open up a Bitcoin Poker Website?

Answer: Well I'm not the only who wanted to open a Bitcoin Poker website and I'm certainly not the first but I personally had a hard time finding trusted Bitcoin poker websites that offered the same perks as normal online poker casinos that use real money. We also are one of the only online poker rooms that allow users to use Bitcoins and Litecoins. It took 19 other poker nerds to get this up and running and super user friendly including over live chat admin. (He Laughs)

Question 2. Why do you wish to keep your identity "semi" anonymous?

Answer: Bitcoins and litecoins by their very nature are anonymous and I feel that for Bitcoin poker to keep true to its value we might as well use NO NAMES. Livebitcoinpoker.com takes security very serious. We don't collect data and you don't need a credit card, bank account, or any personal information to play poker with us.

Question 3 You talk about your Bitcoin poker sites security and who important it is to you, what kind of things have you done to protect poker players and your website.

Answer: Well I can't discuss all of the BTC security features we have implemented as that could cause a weak link to be broken. What I can tell you is that we have the highest standards for security and want to make playing poker with Bitcoins and Litcoins as safe, secure and fun as possible. We don't host our poker sever, website or Wallets on the same servers. We protect our users this way we can prevent an all out break in and we still have other servers in place to rely on. We have noticed that BTC and LTC wallet attacks happen more and more as crypto currency gains more speed so to prevent this we have a team that keeps the wallets offline and monitored. We also have a fully encrypted poker sever side poker system that requires no downloads or clients.

Question 4. What would be some things you look to improve or features to add in the future?

Answer: We go with market. We are the first website to use both LTC and BTC . We are the first Bitcoin Poker website to offer live chat support. We are the first website to offer Bonuses better then most online poker websites. We try to keep up and we can credit most of our users for this as we use their feedback and make changes every day to fit their needs.

Question 5 What is the biggest issue you face running a Bitcoin poker room?

Answer: We are still in our infant stage and gaining quality players is our number one goal. We really want users to come in and trust us that they will have a great poker experience. Some users lose and some users win but keeping them happy and secure while playing is what we try to do. We have developed an affiliate program along with great bonuses to help drive traffic. We want more users and we want to be known as the number 1 trusted quality crypto currency poker website.

2nd Place Seals With Clubs

2nd place Bitcoin Poker Site
Seals with Clubs came in just below livebitcoinpoker.com but only by a hair. Swc is a Bitcoin poker website that holds strong value for being around before Bitcoins were cool. They also are in the news all the time for good and not so good things (DOS Attacks) we try to have an unbiased review but with history comes more action. Seals has the quantity of Bitcoin players that allow you to find a game most of the time and they did a lot of the leg work for most Bitcoin poker websites. They also have a pretty good following and have acquired some TLD names that splash back to their main Seals Webpage. We were declined when asked for an interview with the owners but we have acquired information directly from their page and users. Let's start with facts then we can move to the user POV. We found the tables to be easy on the eyes and smooth game play throughout the system. Since there Bitcoin poker inception they have had a huge struggle but have overcome a lot of the challenges faced with newer sites but that also comes with some setbacks. They also host their wallets creating a target for those few bad apples amongst us. SWC does run the same Bitcoin poker server software as livebitcoinpoker.com and is also encrypted and secure. While Seals is the target of many attacks they do overcome the number one issue faced against casinos and this is Bitcoin players. This is why we can't dock points because they have a Bitcoin user database that most online crypto poker rooms dream of. SWC does carry the hippie theme on their website when you look at their team page it shows some childish but somewhat humorous photo shopped images of poker players. They have an affiliate Bitcoin Poke rprogram but the sign-up is not instant. SWC has a fairly good withdraw and deposit time that users appreciate and seeing as it is automated it does make it quicker then most sites. They also allow for a Bitcoin poker APP which is very cool but lacks security focus. SWC I is also very upfront about abusive players trying to get an edge over other poker player suggestion that you never truly know if your being cheated and it is your job to look out for this type of thing.

Seals With Clubs Pro and Cons

Pros
Uses secure poker Server
Quantity is key here and have games running frequently
Nice Tables with smooth layouts

Longevity

Can handle 1000+ users at once.

Automated withdraws for quicker transfers

Bitcoin Poker App

Low Rake

Rakeback Program

Cons

No live support

Hosted wallets (security Issue)

DOS attacks are frequent

Lack of bonuses

Automated withdraws (security issue)

Bitcoin Poker App (Security issue)

Does not allow Litecoins

3rd Place Satoshi Poker

We have placed Satoshi as 3rd because it lacks a lot when it comes to online poker. Bitcoin Poker is meant to be fun and should be hassle free with security as its focus. Satoshi is growing in numbers but also losing customers just as fast. It's best parts are it's worst. You need to download a there client and run it on your computer to play. When you're willing to give over complete control of your pc you become vulnerable from attacks from nearly anyone (especially those who have internal access through such a client). When Satoshi firsts started they had a normal rake but they change it daily and it can reach some absurd percentages. Satoshia does offer a few perks and that why it initially made our top 3 Bitcoin poker list. They have an easy poker affiliate program and some bonuses but you will never know what they are unless you download their poker client. They also have the least players of all online poker rooms. When you first visit their site your shill alert will go off immediately. They have decent graphics but we get the feeling of insecure setups and poker Admins playing in the game.

Satoshia Poker Pros and Cons

Pros

They have an affiliate program

Some bonuses (not listed)

Cons

Rake will be fluctuating up and down

Mandatory downloading of poker software client (security issue)

Playing against Admins is a conflict of interest.

No Litecoin Support

Lower server space (security issue)

Hosted Wallets (security issue)

Closing Review of the Top 3 Online Bitcoin Poker Websites.
We have been reviewing poker sites since 2009 and have seen all types of poker system setups and have reviewed 1000's of poker rooms. With the rise of Bitcoin, litecoins and other crypto currencies we will be sure to keep our eye out for many more poker rooms. Our decision to rank livebitcoinpoker.com first , Seals with clubs 2nd and Satoshia 3rd where all presented based off the facts provided by their poker users, our own investigation and facts presented on their main websites.
We also took in the account of the anonymity of Bitcoins and litecoins for poker. With that we had to take in to the account security and features that protect the users from data mining their information for profit. We could not verify Satoshi poker as it is a client and can retrieve all your poker information. SWC and livebticoinpoker passed all tests.

We tested sites for speed of poke rdeposts and with draws. We submitted a deposit for Bitcoins and withdraws for Bitcoins in accordance with each Bitcoin Websites rules. We found livebitcoinpoker.com and SWC happen to be right around the same after submitting for deposit but SWC had a quicker checkout function. Satoshi was not tried as it's complicated Bitcoin Poker server was being unresponsive at the time.

When it comes down to the best Bitcoin poker site we hope you check out every site and evaluate for yourself. This review is just to assit you in your choice. After creating this article we have decided to play on both SWC and Livebitcoinpoker.com. Bonsues and promotions are a good way to help separate companies and have found Livebitcoinpoker.com offers the most why Seals with clubs came in 2nd in the amount of promotions. We also found the highest Freeroll payouts being offered by livebitcoinpoker.com at a top monthly Freeroll of 50 BTC. SWC offered a 50 chip (.05 btc) freeroll daily so each Bitcoin poker website has their own style of freerolls. Satoshi lacked certain promos and should seriously consider it for its small but loyal user database of poker users. All three had a simple and easy user interface. SWC and Livebitcoinpoker share the same lobby base specs with SWC being slightly more modified version.

A message to the owners, users and reviews of Bitcoin Poker sites.

Bitcoin poker is meant to be easy and anonymous. Having security in place along with moderators available every day are the key to running a fantastic Bitcoin Poker room. Without this you will become the target of many of the abusive powers that plague the Bitcoin community.

Our review is unbiased and unsolicited we have no affiliation with any of the sites and have received zero compensation from any of the above listed Bitcoin poker websites for this review.
